-Especially if you are by yourself, using a sturdy ladder when completing this project in the air is a must.

Clean Gutters on a Clear, Calm Day

-Another reason to have a sturdy ladder. You do not want to be high up on an unreliable ladder when the wind is blowing or it's slippery.

Wear Cut-resistant Gloves

-There could be sharp, unknown debris mixed in with the leaves so this is a good precaution to use.

Take Your Time

-This could be the most important tip of them all. Accidents happen when you rush through something and aren't focusing on safety.
